Charity Market at the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq

IRAQ Builders team is holding a charity market at the UN compound in Baghdad. The market started in Jun 6th and lasting till Jun 8th, 2016. We would like to thank UNAMI for giving us the chance to help orphans and poor people in Iraq, and we appreciate our friends’ support at the UN compound today and yesterday. For those who weren’t able to support us yesterday and today, we’ll be there tomorrow as well! IRAQ Builders, Help and Support!

Two years ago the illiteracy rate in Iraq increased by 20%. This could be as a result of the successive wars and declining financial situations experienced by some families, especially those who lost their parents and also the large number of displaced people from several provinces after the isis crisis. Let’s Make it a Summer Day for Them

By Zain Al-Tamimi. We will make this cold weather a summer’s day for the IDPs! Thanks from deep inside to those who donate even with a few things. Today, we are going to distribute all of the donated materials which are 400 pouches of new and slightly used clothes, 100 heaters and hundreds of blankets to the displaced people at “Buzaibiz bridge”. The medical team of IRAQ Builders has launched a charitable medical campaign in Al-Nakheel Mall. The campaign includes the following: 1. Measuring the weight and height and providing guidance about the harmful effects of obesity and ideal weight. 2. Measuring blood sugar and providing guidance for people with high readings. 3. Blood pressure measuring and providing guidance on how to maintain the normal pressure level. 4. Providing the participant with a healthy application which enables him/her to use it in the future. The Dawn of Hope

He was a lifeless body, his time of death was declared and almost got thrown in the morgue–not until a police officer noticed Abu Ahmed was moving his finger. The police officer grabbed on of the physicians to revive him and stabilize him. Abu Ahmed spent a considerable amount oh his time afterwards in hospital wards getting treatment. One of the important Iraq builders’s events, are the “charity markets” that we are holding in many places, and this time it was at our favorite places Al-Mutanabi street which it’s considered as one of the important centers of culture and awareness. The idea has been improved, the volunteers themselves decided to produce the handmade works which include the accessories, printing and drawing on glass and cloth, crochet, and paintings to sell all such products in charity markets which were held in many restaurants, social clubs, universities and even abroad.
